The warranty only covers manufacturing and material defects in the product. Warranty repairs are always carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s or importer’s warranty terms. The warranty period is stated on the receipt. The warranty terms can be found in the user manual, on a separate warranty form or at the web address specified by the manufacturer.

👉 Register warranty serviceHow long does servicing take?
The exact duration of the service cannot be estimated in advance, as the service is carried out by a service company authorised by the product manufacturer. The service processing time is typically around 10–20 working days, but completion within this timeframe cannot be guaranteed. The duration of the service depends, for example, on the nature of the fault, the repairs required and the availability of spare parts.
In some cases, the service may proceed most quickly directly through the manufacturer’s service department. We recommend contacting the manufacturer before registering a service case.
You will receive a separate notification when the service process is complete and your product is ready for collection or has been returned to you. Public holidays, the availability of spare parts and the manufacturer’s processing times may affect the duration of the service.
What is accepted as proof of warranty?
Your purchase receipt is always accepted as proof of warranty. You can download the receipt from the Orders tab in your customer account, under Delivered orders. From there, you can open the correct order and download the receipt.
The warranty period granted by the manufacturer is also shown on the receipt.
The order number and receipt number are the same thing. So, if you still have the order confirmation, you can easily find the receipt when sending the product to our service department.

What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects in the product in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms. The warranty does not limit the seller’s liability for defects under the Consumer Protection Act, the applicability of which is always assessed on a case-by-case basis.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors, such as a cracked screen, impacts, damage caused by dropping or liquid damage. Many phones and smartwatches have an IP rating, which describes the device’s level of protection against dust and water. The extent of the protection and the conditions of use vary between manufacturers, so it is advisable to check the detailed information in the device’s user manual and the manufacturer’s terms.
The warranty also does not cover damage caused by incorrect use or installation, inadequate servicing or any other activity contrary to the user manual. Many products contain wear parts that are intended to be replaced as a result of normal use. The warranty does not cover the replacement of wear parts or faults caused by normal wear and tear.
Pixel defects may occur on screens, such as dead or permanently bright pixels. Manufacturers have their own terms regarding when a screen can be repaired or replaced due to pixel defects. The assessment is generally affected by the number and location of the pixel defects.
Data stored on the device is not restored during servicing, nor is software reinstalled. The customer is responsible for backing up their data before sending the product for servicing. We also recommend carefully retaining software licence details and other important information. If the data has not been backed up before servicing, Verkkokauppa.com does not provide data recovery services. You can enquire about possible data recovery from the service company or another service provider.
If the service department determines that the fault is not covered by the warranty, the customer will be sent a cost estimate for the repair. The customer may accept or reject the proposed repair.
If no fault covered by the warranty or the seller’s liability for defects is found in the product, the customer may be charged for the inspection, processing and possible transport costs of the service.
Does the warranty continue after servicing?
The product warranty always continues in accordance with the original purchase receipt.
If the product is replaced with a new or equivalent product during the warranty period, the product’s warranty period does not start over; it remains valid in accordance with the original receipt.
Where can I buy spare parts for my device?
For enquiries about spare parts, you should contact the manufacturer’s support or an authorised service company directly. In most cases, spare parts can be delivered directly to you by post.
