Will a washing machine be installed in place of an old appliance in a washer-dryer stack?

No, it will not be installed. A washing machine will not be installed in place of an old appliance in a washer-dryer stack because the installation service does not include removing or reinstalling a dryer. 

Can a washing machine be installed somewhere other than in a bathroom? 

A washing machine can be installed in a dry room if the installation location is otherwise suitable, meaning it has the required electrical connections, water taps and a leak tray. Please note that installation in a dry room may require permission from the housing company. 

A leak tray must be installed under the washing machine in a dry room so that any leaks can be detected and water damage can be avoided. You can order a correctly sized leak tray at the same time as you order the washing machine. 

Can the appliance be installed on top of an old leak tray? 

The appliance can be installed on top of an old leak tray if the leak tray is in like-new condition and suitable for the new appliance. 

Does the installation include replacing or extending hoses? 

No, it does not. The installation service does not include replacing or extending the appliance’s hoses. The appliance will be installed using the original hoses that come with it.  

Does the installation include removal and recycling of the old appliance?

No, it does not. The installation service does not include recycling the old appliance, but you can order it as an additional service together with home delivery and installation of the new appliance. Please note that the appliance being recycled must be the same appliance type as the new appliance being delivered (for example, a refrigerator for a refrigerator, a TV for a TV).

Does the installation include floor protection?

No, it does not. The installation service does not include floor protection. You must protect the floor yourself before the appliance is installed. 

How much does the installation cost?

You can see the installation price on the product page when adding the service to your order. Please note that in addition to the installation fee, a home delivery fee will be charged according to the price list.

Can I buy installation without home delivery?

The installation service is only available with home delivery. You cannot purchase the installation service if you do not also choose home delivery.

I installed the machine myself. Why does it not stay in place?

We always recommend ordering installation from a professional.

Make sure that you have installed the appliance according to the instructions. If the machine moves during the spin cycle, check that the transit bolts have been removed according to the instructions. Transit bolts are supports that protect the washing machine drum and the appliance during transport, and they must be removed during installation. We recommend keeping the transit bolts for possible future use.
