How do I order installation?
When placing an order in our online store, you can choose installation at the same time as adding the product to your shopping cart. Installation service is available for some products, and it can be selected together with delivery on the product page when adding the product to the shopping cart. The delivery address must be within the installation area to confirm the order.
Why can't I order installation?
Installation services are available for almost the entire area of Finland, but the installation area does not cover all delivery areas. If your delivery address is not within the installation area, you cannot order installation but will receive information and instructions in the shopping cart on how to proceed.
Installation is also only available for certain products, and you cannot purchase installation service if you are ordering a product for which installation is not available through us. In these cases, installation services cannot be selected on the product page either.
The service is available over a wider area through Posti, and Hakonen handles installations in the Helsinki metropolitan area and surrounding municipalities.
Can I order installation without delivery?
Installation or recycling cannot be ordered if you have chosen in-store pickup or pickup from the Vantaa warehouse as the delivery method. Installation is only performed together with home delivery and cannot be ordered without home delivery as the delivery method.
Who installs the devices?
All basic installations are carried out by professional installers during delivery. Installation can be ordered together with Posti's or Hakonen's delivery. Manufacturer-specific instructions and recommendations are followed during installation.
Installation during Posti's delivery is performed by Posti's subcontractor.
Installation during Hakonen's delivery is performed by Hakonen's installer.
Does the online store have its own appliance installers?
Verkkokauppa.com does not have its own installers. Installation can only be ordered as a service performed together with Posti's or Hakonen's home delivery.
When are the devices installed?
Products are installed at the same time as they are delivered. When you order products with Posti's delivery, they are usually delivered and installed about five days after the order is shipped. With Hakonen's delivery, products arrive faster.
How is the installation schedule agreed with me?
The recipient is always contacted separately to agree on the exact time of installation, and the delivery time is agreed directly with the transport company.

Can I agree on the installation schedule directly with the online store?
The delivery time is agreed directly with the transport company. We cannot influence the installation times offered by the transport company or agree on a specific delivery schedule on behalf of the customer, even if you inform us of your preferences.
Is the cabinet door installed when I order an integrated appliance?
Installation service does not include the installation of the cabinet door when it comes to an integrated appliance. The device is installed ready for use without the cabinet door.
Posti installers do not perform cabinet door installations at all.
Hakonen performs this as an additional paid service, which is ordered directly from them when booking the appointment. Hakonen's prices depend on whether it is a dishwasher or a cooling appliance and vary between 50 euros and 130 euros.
What should I consider before ordering installation?
Make sure that the device you have chosen fits in the intended place and that the installer has unobstructed access to the installation site. We provide product dimensions on our website based on the manufacturer's information.
Check in the product description that the device's hoses/cables/wires reach well to the installation site and that the space has the necessary sockets and any required pass-throughs. Installation services do not include furniture modifications, so the installation site must be ready before installation.
How should the installation site be protected before installation?
Protect the floor from the door to the installation site. The protection must be sufficient to prevent floor damage. Remove all items and obstacles so the installer has an unobstructed workspace at the site. The access route may also get wet and dirty, so floors should be carefully protected. According to occupational safety regulations, installers always wear safety shoes, which they do not remove even if requested.

Carefully review device-specific installation descriptions before ordering. If installation cannot be performed due to the installation site or its deficiencies, delivery costs will not be refunded, and a new installation visit will not be arranged free of charge.
What should I consider before installation?
Obtain any necessary additional accessories for installation in advance. Installers usually carry a limited number of the most common accessories, which can be purchased for an additional fee. However, the availability of individual accessories cannot be guaranteed, so we recommend obtaining the accessories yourself in advance.
Ensure that there is a functioning shut-off valve in the water connection and that electrical, water, and sewage connections are ready. If there is no electricity at the installation site, the device cannot be tested, and the responsibility for installation remains with you.
Inform the installer of any additional requests for basic installation when agreeing on the delivery time, if any. However, note that these requests cannot be guaranteed.
The installation company will send an installation form by email after installation. It is recommended to save and keep the installation form for future reference.
Why wasn't the device installed even though I ordered installation with delivery?
This can be due to many reasons, but it usually relates to the installation site:
- the device to be installed did not fit in the desired place
- the installation site did not have the necessary connections
- the installation site did not have the necessary equipment to perform the installation safely
- performing the installation would have required furniture modifications
- the floor of the installation site was lower than other floors
- the installation site is otherwise unsuitable for the device to be installed

Installation failed, will I get a new installation visit free of charge?
If installation failed due to reasons beyond our or the transport company's control, a new installation visit is always chargeable. Such a situation may be due to the installation site or the device's dimensions. When the installation site does not meet requirements, the device does not fit, or installation requires modifications not included in the installation service. The installer will inform you if installation cannot be performed due to the installation site.
Installation failed, will I get my money back?
If installation failed due to reasons beyond our or the transport company's control, the installation fee will not be refunded.
I want to arrange a new installation visit, how do I do that?
If installation failed due to deficiencies at the installation site, you can order a new paid installation visit from our customer service.
What should I do if I suspect an installation error?
If you suspect an installation error, contact customer service and include a photo of the installation form. This way, we can investigate the situation as quickly as possible and, if necessary, ask the installer to come and check the installation.
Comments related to installation must be made within one month of installation.
♻️ Order recycling of your old device together with home delivery ♻️
Recycling service can be ordered for household appliances such as cooling appliances, stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, and tumble dryers. Large televisions can also be recycled. Recycling service for air source heat pumps can be ordered as an additional service.
♻️ If you also order installation of a new corresponding device, disconnection of the old device is included in the service. We recommend ordering installation and recycling of the old device together with delivery to facilitate commissioning.
♻️ If you order only recycling, the driver will not disconnect the device. You must ensure that the device is disconnected from all fastenings, connections, and plugs and moved ready near the outer door where it can be freely taken for transport.
A stove connected to a high-voltage power supply must not be disconnected by yourself, so arrange professional disconnection in advance. There must be unobstructed access to the device to be recycled, and floor and wall surfaces must be sufficiently protected.
♻️ A device corresponding to the delivered product will be taken for recycling. There can be a maximum of four products delivered and recycled in one order. Devices are recycled in the same quantity as new corresponding products delivered. The device to be recycled must be emptied of all liquids and materials.
