Activation is quick, and you can protect your computer, phone, or tablet with it.
Follow the instructions below to secure your device.
1. Open the activation link from the email
After processing your order, you will receive an email from F-Secure within 1–2 working days. The message contains your personal activation link.
- Open the email directly on the device you want to protect.
- Click the activation link in the message.
- Note! If you cannot find the message, please also check your spam folder.
2. Create a My F-Secure account and confirm your subscription
The activation link will take you to F-Secure's secure website. There you will create your own management account and link the subscription to your payment card.
- Create credentials: Enter your email address and set a strong password for the account.
- Enter payment card details: This is a recurring subscription, so the system will request your card details. You will not be charged for the first year, but the subscription will automatically renew after the first period.
- Confirm the account: Accept the terms and confirm your account via a separate confirmation link sent to your email.
3. Download and install the application
You can now log in to your new My F-Secure portal and install the protection.
- Log in at https://my.f-secure.com/ ➡️ using the credentials you created.
- Click the "Add device" button in the portal.
- Choose whether you are installing the service on your own device or your child's device.
- Select the device type (computer, phone, or tablet).
- On a computer: Download the installation file and run it.
- On a mobile device: You will be directed straight to the app store (alternatively, you can send the installation link to your phone via text message).
- Open the installed application and follow the on-screen instructions. The app will automatically connect to your account, and no separate product key is required. On mobile devices, log in with your My F-Secure credentials.
